Carmen Elena Behrens was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on December 13, 1972, from small felt an inclination and fascination with color, by meaning, by mixing and play in them, grew up surrounded by a large family, is the second six brothers, and this led to live in an environment of color and joy.

He studied Graphic Design in Caracas Design Institute, graduating in 1993. He devoted himself to develop and this led her to understand the figure in space, the structure, composition and size of each color. The year was 2001, which became interested in painting what he felt fabrics, discovering his passion for what he did, was involved in this fascinating world of art. In 2005, she taught art in the Andes Institute, working with children. He currently resides in Caracas, is married to Gustavo Briceño and has three children.

It has an energy that is captured in his strokes, seemed the picture was inside her body, she is her own brush, great instrument itself. How the artist said "I believe in the expression, in the language through my colors, if left me speechless, I would my colors to express and talk, my hands are due to my feelings."

The artist believes that each color has their own meaning, their own alphabet, each has a unique importance, likes to convey and give joy to their spectators.
